Indonesia: The Green Wall Project (Full) – Conservation International (CI)

Located just 80 kilometers from the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta, is the Gedepahala Landscape. This hilly landscape serves as a critical watershed for 30 million people, helping to ensure a steady supply of clean water for farms and communities.

CI is working here to restore degraded areas and demonstrate to the community the importance of managing and protecting their environment. The Green Wall Project begun in 2008, and is made possible through the support of Daikin Industries.
